The inconvenience of fixing 3 months is that when you have got all the information upon the subject which you can get, or when the purpose of the Ordinance is likely to get its ends, or when the Ordinance is unobjectionable, what possible end is answered by delaying its operation?
The last resolution refers to the Establishment of a Colonial Committee, and, on the understanding that the Committee was to give its assistance to the Government; I would hail the proposal with satisfaction.
